According to Webster’s dictionary, life is defined as the ability to undergo growth and change. Everyone during the course of their life experiences growth and change in many different ways, whether it is intellectual growth or physical development. This is no exception for a fetus inside of a woman; they grow and change rapidly in a nine month period. Life is extremely precious, and to take that away from anyone is immoral. While morality is another corrupt aspect in our society, it is ethically and plain wrong to take the life away from any living being, especially if they are voiceless in the matter.

And, on the other hand, you have many women who are unable to have children, and women around them are treating pregnancy like it is some type of game. They pick and choose when or when not to have a child, using life as pawn in their cruel game, and voiceless children are left for dead. The decision, except for certain circumstances such as rape, was made to interact sexually with a partner, and you have to be aware that a possible outcome of that interaction could be a child, whether you use protection or not. The only sure way to not end up with an unplanned pregnancy is to abstain from sex until you are prepared to raise a child. While I understand some women are unable to afford contraception and feel the desire to interact sexually with their partner, there are other options other than an abortion for an unplanned pregnancy, like an adoption. I know that giving birth and carrying a child for nine months can be costly as well as dangerous, however, if morality plays a role in your life the ethical decision is to carry that child to term. It may sound like it is a woman’s responsibility to carry and raise a child (they are the only humans that can do so), but the point is that another human being is growing inside of your body and deserves the same rights as you. Many argue that women have the right to do what they want to their bodies, but what about the rights of the child you are carrying? You have to realize that it is not just an organ that you can donate, it is a living being that has a purpose in this life just as you and
