On a hot summer day, in a small town like mine, you could find the streets filled with children playing and music blasting from passing cars. We continued to take turns driving the scooter, and after a while it was finally my turn to drive again. I hopped on and let my sister climb on the back. She got on and I flew down the street with no hesitation. My grandma shouted for us to slow down, but I simply sped up and ignored her shouting. We got to the end of the street and was time for us to turn around. I began to make the U-turn and as I did I began to speed up just a little. All of a sudden, I felt the scooter began fall on its side. We were still on the scooter and it was sliding on the rough road, tearing up my knees in the process. I knew my knees were messed up but I did not care. My sister and I got back on the scooter and drove back to the
