A mid-term reflection coupled with a scheduled site visit provide the Intern, Site Supervisor, and Faculty Sponsor opportunity to check the internship experience and progress toward Learning Outcomes.

I was lost because I did not know how in depth a learning experience like this could be. My learning outcome was “to learn how to property take care of people taxes for 2017 and learn more about the accounting field as a whole so I can apply it to my future work”. Based on my experiences, there should be one main change to my learning outcome. That change would be to take time to learn how the processes work, rather than quickly get through tax returns, not learning how everything comes together. I believe this change would be good because I have learned how important it is to know the process for duties of a tax preparer and how much it will help on the CPA exam in the
