Abortion is considered by a large amount of women as an avenue of escaping, when an unborn and unwanted child’s news come. There are two opposing arguments about the restriction of abortion. Ellen Willis in the text entitled, ‘‘Putting women into the abortion debate’’ is basically against human rights and she claims that, mother is the only person to decide about abortion. She claims that mother is the sole decision maker and, therefore, there should not be any limitations on her side. On the other hand, in the text entitled, ‘‘Living Roe V. Wade’’ the author claims strongly that abortion should have some limitations, it should be restricted because only mother cannot decide about abortion. George W. Harris a philosopher has put forward an idea that there are terms in which a woman's decision to having an abortion would be morally wrong because it would harm to the father. (‘‘Father’s rights’’ 1) If the father wants and have interest in having a child, and the mother misleads into believing that she will give him a child if he does certain things such as; marriage and living in a high standard of life. After the father does those things for the specific purpose of having a family, then it is wrong for the mother to having abortion and prevent the father from having that child. Women, who consider abortion should have no limits, explain how pregnancy is hard with some excuses. Being tired at all time, being short of breath and putting on weight are some excuses for this side. However, unaware father has certainly some excuses as well. For instance; being the father of that fetus. There should be some precautions for this type of injustice. Some countries put laws for father’s rights when the mother wants to be aborted. To illustrate, Chinese law says, ‘‘a man's right to have a child on an equal footing with the right of his wife, and a man has sued his wife for infringing that right by having an abortion in 2002.’’ (‘‘Father’s rights’’ 1) It is obvious that father should have a say on their child’s life.
