She causes pain and suffering too many people. John Proctor’s relationship with Elizabeth and Abigail creates chaos in Salem Witch Trials. It also shows how Abigail is responsible for the Salem Witch Trials. Abigail is manipulative and wants everything to go her way. Therefore she is a villain, adulterer, manipulator and nothing less. It shows how Abigail will do anything to keep herself safe. She will even put to death a man she supposedly loves. She took away 20 innocent lives and ruined a marriage. In my opinion Abigail seems to have a psychological problem. She seems to be lost in the world, and the only way for her to go through life is by being deceitful. She has no remorse for what she’s done or caused. It becomes even worse when she steals from her own family members. In addition Abigail eventually ran away with Mercy Lewis. Abigail is cold-hearted and she basically plays the devils character in her town. In this case Abigail was never the victim and she will always be an unforgettable
