Scout, Jem and Dill have been prejudice against Boo Radley because of his indifference and what has been said of him that they start to call him “malevolent phantom.” Whereas Mr. Radley is overbearing and judgmental toward Boo (Champion Laurie). Kids have judged Boo for the fact that he never comes out his home and they have gone off by what people have said of him. Boo is a recluse but he has been emotionally damaged by his father his own father has discriminated his own son. which is the reason for why he mostly stays in his home he gets judged hes one of the good people that have been harmed by mankind. "Jem gave a reasonable description of Boo: Boo was about six-and-a-half feet tall, judging from his tracks; he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch, that 's why his hands were bloodstained-if you ate an animal raw, you could never wash the blood off. There was a long jagged scar that ran across his face; what teeth he had were yellow and rotten his eyes popped, and he drooled most of the time" (Harper Lee 13). She was the one to do the first move, which was seen by her father Bob (Champion Laurie). Bob was discriminated and put in jail for something he didn 't commit because of a lie, for an ignorant man that didn 't want to see reality in what her own daughter had done. was that really necessary for them to do and make a mans life miserable. The children are surprise for what their society has came to that their racism has made them blind when it comes to justice (Hinton Kaa Vonia). The judge was blind for the fact that he put an innocent man in jail for something he didn 't commit plus he didn 't just ruin Tom’s life but also Tom’s family. Why convict a man that didn 't do anything to anyone just be himself. He’s another mockingbird that was hurt by mankind. "Tom robinson 's a colored man, Jem. No jury in this part of the world 's going to say, we think you 're guilty, but not very, ' on a charge like that. It was either a straight acquittal or nothing" (Harper Lee 219). The jury probably never thought that Tom could be innocent for the fact that he was a black man they were being racist and made no justice. If it did ever cross
