They say that temperatures have held steady for the past 15 years even though the greenhouse emissions have continually gone up. They also say that carbon dioxide emissions from the U.S. were cut by 12 percent and the global emissions still increased by 15 percent. Furthermore, researchers say that global temperature will rise by 0.08 degrees Celsius by 2050 (Smith). They say that the changing weather patterns are random and there is no pattern for it (Climate). However, all the researchers would be wrong because they are only looking at the United States’ emissions and not the world as whole. Who is to say that the years the U.S. decreased their carbon emissions some other countries did not have theirs go up? Most humans are not worried about changing their ways because they do not think it will affect them in any way. This may be true, but if a person only imagines their children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren not living a full and happy life because of the irreversible things we did to it while growing up might make us change our ways of thinking. Everyone needs to do their part in order to save the earth from having a worse climate than what is already being created. No one wants to know that they are the reason that their future children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren 's lives were completely changed over things we could have helped prevent during our time
