The Haunted House Essay

¨Mom...Dad...¨ Gianna begged to go to the haunted house in Phoenix, although she lived in California. The haunted house or known as 13th floor is probably the scariest thing that could happen in Phoenix. There have been millions of rumors that the 13th Floor is actually haunted, millions of reports that people have been killed. Yet no one will believe that because it is just ¨acting¨. The first time she asked was a bit ago, but now, today is her birthday, October 13th, 2003. She felt like the happiest person in the world when they indulged.

A few days had gone by, and now Gianna, her parents, and her 16 year old brother would be going to the ¨13th Floor¨. They were in the car, ready to drive to the airport on the way to Phoenix.

With a feeling of contentment, Gianna and her family had finally arrived. Of course, they booked a hotel, SpringHill Suites. They went off to their room, and unpacked, and the rest slept until the next day. Gianna anticipating for what’s coming next, dozed off into deep sleep.

The Next Day

9:00 AM, Gianna jumped out of bed with joy. Even though she would still delay for another 13 hours because who even likes to go to a haunted house at daytime?! To gain an effective worthwhile, Gianna and her brother decide to watch a scary movie at the hotel while their parents go to the movies then later attend a bar.

13 Hours Later

Gianna and her family are off to the haunted house. ¨That will be $200 for tickets, please” said the ticket taker.
Mom and dad provide the $200 together.
The family goes off into the house starting off with mirrors everywhere around the room, the other people in the room were as confused as Gianna was. There were reflections everywhere. It was easy enough as she found her way through the mirrors, and to the entrance into the other room. There was a guy there, ambling around the room, suspiciously, like he would pounce on someone. Gianna and her family hastily moved out of the room and into the hallway. There were small niches in the wall, there were fake heads in majority of them, but some of them, you could tell had “actors” sticking their heads in them. Some of the actors screamed at you in attempt to scare you…

After rambling throughout the haunted house, Gianna and her family made it to “Zombieland” as she calls it. The room was an actual apocalypse, many stranded cars, filthy and unwashed. The people in the room had messed up clothes, many in casual clothing, grubby as it would be. “RAAAAH!” screamed the zombie. One of the zombies even looked like they bit the neck of one of the people. Even fake blood squirted out. Then another zombie bit a person in their arm. Everybody knew it was fake, but just to please the actors they started screaming. Subsequently, a zombie came up to me acting as if he would bite me, he came up to me limping and grunting. The man had decayed skin, molars appearing at the back of his mouth, blood stained the man’s cheeks and around his mouth, around his forehead has scar tissue and brown spots. “At Least I wasn’t killed” Gianan thought. “Dang they did well on this dude’s makeup” Gianna
