INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background to the Study
This will provide the reason behind the research motivating factors, basis for understanding of the problem of the study. It discusses circumstances and issues that led to the choice of the topic and as well provides background information on the development of the problem.

1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This research work will be meaningful to a wide range of individuals and group alike. The result of the study will be useful to reduce the incidence of unwanted pregnancy as well as incidence of criminal abortion among the inhabitant of Dobi. The finding of this research will help towards the provision of commodities for hospitals and health centres by the Government to the areas that are still poor whereby making the programme affordable and a success in the area and beyond. The study will also be of help for other researchers.

1. What impacts do social norms and values have on the utilization of family planning?
2. Does religion have any effect on the acceptance of family planning by the planning by the people of Dobi?
3. How can lack of adequate knowledge of family planning affect the acceptance of the people of Dobi?
4. Are there enough facilities and personnel to cater for the full implementation of the family planning programme in the area?
5. Is family planning accessible and affordable to the people of the area?
