According to the Oxford Dictionary, truth is defined as “the quality or character of being true to a person, principle, cause, etc. ; steadfast allegiance,faithfulness, fidelity, loyalty, constancy. Defining the truth in the dictionary is easy. However, in reality, the truth is not always so black and white. Drawing identical conclusions from identical facts can be very difficult. We live in a world where even undeniable facts are denied and debated and it can be very difficult to determine what the truth is in many circumstances. In the absence of undisputable evidence, the truth is left up to the public to decide for themselves what is true and what is not. Area 51 is a perfect example of this. The secrecy surrounding Area 51 has made it a perfect target for rampant speculation, exploitation, distrust of our government and in some cases, paranoia.
