The producer seems to lack integrity as his statement implies that set workers are inferior to all other workers.
Objectivity
The producer is more bias to the actors/actresses simply because their skill brings in more money.
Professional Behavior
The producer failed to behave in a professional and as a results can results in his profession and the company’s reputation being discredited.

It is unethical to misquote and report incorrect and unclear information to the public, especially on a matter of such huge importance which affects individuals world-wide.
Is It Legal?
There is no formal law on documentary production factual checks, however there is hue potential of a law suit.

Those involved in the production of the documentary should be honest and professional in the work that they produce. This means that those interviewed and the information provided must not be misrepresented.

The need and drive to make profits must not cloud the team’s judgement.

Viewers have the right to professional and quality program therefore all parties involved must act diligently to ensure that this is the case.
