Zoom Dialectical Journal

Decent Essays
Zoom promptly speeds off with a brutalized Barry in tow, going first to the newspaper and afterward the police station, taunting that their hero is not all he was cracked up to be. At the police station, the entire police force open fire on him at the same time, but Zoom catches all of the bullets and scatters them on the floor. Zoom then returns to S.T.A.R. Labs to confront Wells. He rips off the Scarlet Speedster's mask and then stabs him with his clawed fingers. Just as he is about to deliver his final blow, Cisco shoots him with the speed dampener, which only serves to make Zoom run away. Barry awakens on the S.T.A.R. Labs hospital bed, while Joe is ready to rip Wells apart with his bare hands. Cisco steps in and asks Wells who Jesse is.

Name: Cory Gotchall Dater: October 10, 2017 Period: 2nd Journal Analysis In the beginning of the book Winston Smith, the main character, arrives at his apartment. As Winston walks in the hallway, sidewalk, or anywhere the sign Big Brother Is Watching You is literally everywhere. I’m assuming “Big Brother” is the government watching over the “Little Brother” or better known as Winston. As I continue to read and get a better understanding of Winston I can pick up that he is grim and totalitarian.…

    1. When Ackerman begins by stating that “Love is the great intangible,” she is trying to say that love is the clarity of life. Love in a scenes, is something that has such a strong meaning to us as humans that when it is shown we cannot help but acknowledge its presence. This word however also is a word that we cannot fully understand. In the first paragraph when the author talks about the little girl asking her parent how much they love them, the response of the parent is 100 times the biggest thing we could think of.…

Journal # 1 Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad is a book I read for my University English class. People always say don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but I am that one guy that does. When I first looked at the book to be completely honest, I thought it had something to do with witches or something really unrealistic. I know I have a wild imagination. The first couple of pages of the book got me hooked instantly, I loved how the book just starts and how the narrator gets right into his adventure as a young man into the Congo River.…

I dreamt of lighthouses and the light it casts out over the clear blue gulf sending a signal of safety to those passing by. I wonder about all the things that are like lighthouses to me.…
