The original Zoolander was released many years ago in 2001. But the movies seems to never go out of style. Ben Stiller's satire continues to be a fan favorite (even though Zoolander 2 slightly jeopardized the brand). As many times as you've watched those epic moments and interactions between Derek and Hansel, there are still many facts you don't know about "Zoolander." Will Ferrell got the role when Stiller collaborator Andy Dick had a scheduling conflict with a TV project that ultimately failed to materialize.

Famous movie star Alexander Skarsgård made his debut as Meekus, Derek's gasoline-spraying model friends. Skarsgård was visiting his father in America when he was offered the chance to play in Zoolander. When Alexander returned back to Sweden he bragged to all of his friends about how easy the whole process was for him.
Number 5: Meekus and the boys were Doomed
Did you know that Meekus and his friends were doomed? The license plate on their car had "RFK 575" number, the same as on the fateful vehicles from "Final Destination" and "The Long Kiss Goodnight."
Number 6: DJ Mark Ronson
Zoolander featured Mark Ronson who played a DJ in the movie. Several years later he became a real musician.
