Based on our findings, Zoo Taiping has always searching the efficient ways to be the best in the zoo and working hard to make sure they give all the best experience to all the visitors. In our opinion, there are a few things that Zoo Taiping can be improved on. There was some of our recommendation after all the research.
Zoo Taiping is located in a natural setting in Taiping Lake Gardens close to the foot of the Larut Hill (Maxwell Hill). The beautiful natural setting with streams, lakes and abundance of flora gives the zoo unique advantage of being able to use nature to its best. The other countries such as Korean Village, China Village and Indian Village can be developed too. The more the country with different cultures , the more the people will interested.
However, for people with weak knees and arthritis, visiting the Japanese Village is not definitely advisable for you. This was because as you will be going up and down the hill a lot. The Japanese Village is actually located much further up the hill .Therefore , we recommended that more facilities like ‘Tu Tu Car’ can be provided .The things that sold in this place was over pricy which may not so affordable to some tourist to buy some souvenir for their relatives and friends. This can attract more people and children to come and pay a visit. The hygiene of the washrooms must be concerned .Washroom plays an important role at the zoo because after having fun with animals visitors would need to use the toilet over there. Therefore, the management of the zoo should take some actions to upgrade or renovate the restrooms and hire more workers to ensure the restrooms are in a clean condition all the time. Not only the toilet, the living places of the animals also need to be clean to protect the animals from diseases. Besides, the management should make some signs and stick at the restroom for everyone to be aware of the cleanliness. Moreover, long queue at the ticket counter during the peak season could bring inconveniences to everyone. Thus, the management should employ more workers to work at the cashier or install online ticketing system to improve the efficiency.
