Zombie Survival Guide: How to Prepare and Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
If zombies became a living nightmare, and were no longer just found in the movies, rather in real life as well, life would become very difficult for an individual. First, an individual would have to stay away from a city, due to the large population which would lead to a large zombie outbreak. Second, they would have to gather supplies and weapons. Third, the individual would have to find others, for the reason that being in a group is safer than just going alone. Finally, the person would just need to survive for years before society can go back to its normal ways. However, this is not as easy as it sounds, what the person needs will all depend on the situation. But under ideal conditions, a person surviving is very feasible.

They can be vital help, if they follow Thomas Hobbes’ theory of social contract. According to Hobbes;
People are brought together because they are terrified. The characters inside the besieged farmhouse in Night of the Living Dead demonstrate how a community can be formed simply out of fear. Most of the characters have never met before the terrifying events of that evening bring them together. They quickly form a governing apparatus in which two male antagonists, Ben and Cooper, vie for a position of power while a horde of zombies advances outside. (Murray 2006)
Groups are able to survival longer and better than a single individual. Not only will a person have the comfort of having people with them, but they will have extra help when it comes to fighting the undead horde. Furthermore, with a group, individuals can cover more ground when looking for supplies, carry more supplies, and prevent each other from going insane due to lack of social contact. So, a person best bet is to find a group of people, there is strength in numbers.
