Zombie Apocolypse Research Paper

Improved Essays
Zombie apocolypse or not my mom would still make me go to school. I’ve never played on a team but I crave the thrill of swinging a baseball bat, launching heads out of the park would make it a whole new ball game. If I’m going to hide anywhere it would have to be the P.E. building, considering that’s where everyone else hides when school gets too “classy” for them. The bleachers are setup in the gym for when we have pep ralley’s, with enough spit and grease they can be pushed back to block the enterances. When I’m trapped in a school with locked doors all around me the keys to survival are actual keys, so in this situation a master key is a top priority item. Being completely honest, I wouldn’t make it a day without some source of music.

If zombies did happen to come to St.Labre, first I would go and find a knife or something to protect myself with while I try and get to a safe and secure spot with food, water, and shelter then i would grab all my friends that weren’t zombies and I would go over to the spot that would keep us safe and fed. I was recently gifted "H1Z1 - King Of The Kill" by a friend of mine. Personally, my thoughts about the game before today were generally negative. I actually was planning on buying KOTK, but I learned about PUBG the same day and decided to hold out until release.…

There have been many ideas about zombies being this immortal undead creature who roams the earth for all of eternity with one purpose, which is to eat the humans. Which in turn, causes terror and chaos everywhere that they may roam which makes us fear about the end of the world. These simple thoughts about zombies are scary enough to think about which many movie makers rely on when they are making their own movies about this genre. Zack Snyder jumps into the zombie horror film genre by using George A. Romero’s movie, Dawn of the Dead, as a baseline for his take on the zombie genre. Snyder makes a major update on how the zombies moved, what they looked like, and all of the special effects that come with a zombie horrors movie.…

This roof was not going to be our death trap! Sitting by the door, I looked over at the tarp and tried to decide how thin I could cut the plastic material so that the strips would still bear our weight. It would need to stretch about three floors, or at least near enough that we would be able to drop to the pavement without risking serious injury. In the world today, an ankle injury would most likely be a death sentence.…

This letter is very difficult for me to write because I keep starting to cry every time I write my next word, so please forgive me in advance if you see teardrops all over the letter. By the time, you get this letter I will have already been turned to a zombie looking to viciously eat any humans that I see. Remember something though in my mind and body I will have changed but in my heart I will still be the same caring, compassionate, loving person that I always was. Nonetheless, do not get the wrong idea and assume I am that same person on the outside because I will ruthlessly try to eat you at all costs.…

Where did our twenty-first century incarnations of the zombie come from, and how did they develop as time elapsed? James Parker’s “Our Zombies, Ourselves” discusses several of the past and present zombies, their stereotypical designs, and how different medias portray society’s definition of a zombie. One of the first subjects Parker covers is that of society’s preconception of the undead. We, and apparently everyone else dating back to the early 1900s, imagine the zombie as abysmally lethargic, with greyed skin, mutilated limbs, and an unending desire to consume living flesh. Parker regales the reader with a tale of the zombie’s evolution through poetry, books, movies, television, and even songs.…

Could you ever imagine waking up one day and everything was different? Not being able to be sprawled out in your perfectly good bed each morning, but waking up in various locations for protection. Having to carry some sort of weapon every time you go outside just in case you run into a pack of zombies looking for fresh flesh. This all seemed too much and it was only my first year at Missouri State. A zombie apocalypse was not something I expected from college, especially to be one of the few survivors’ left on campus.…
