When I was in sixth grade and she was in eighth we talked a lot. I remember at a school dance we had a slapping contest. We saw which person could slap the other person the most. At the end of the contest we had red marks on our skin. Since she was older than me by a couple years I didn't think of her like a role model. I thought of her like a sister to look up to. I am adopted so being the oldest is hard because you have nobody to look up to. Well I did when I met Zoey. Zoey told me she wanted to help. She ended up helping and I was so happy. She taught me how to be a catcher. I was really nervous, but she helped me. She made me work hard, she made me tough, and she made me better than I was. I got the uniform number eleven because that was her number. I was proud to be wearing it. The bus rides were so fun with Zoey. We would take goofy pictures and we laughed so much. When softball season was over I was sad again. I texted her non-stop. I didn't really care if I was annoying. I knew once softball was over I wouldn't see Zoey for awhile. I miss her a lot. I'm glad that I met Zoey because I wouldn't really have a big sister or a really great role model which ever one works I guess. I'm glad that I met you Zoey and I hope we stay friends.
