Zoe's Monologue

Zoe's heart was thumping in her throat. She stepped hesitantly up to the microphone.
"Um"
She took a deep breath and continued.
"Hi my name is Zoe and today I am going out talk to you about the litter in the school playground."
When the teacher had asked for a volunteer it had seemed like a simple thing to do at the time, but now Zoe was not sure if she should have put up her hand
