Zip Lining Research Paper

Decent Essays

Back then I had a small fear of heights, so I was very hesitant to go zip-lining. Zippers are a combination of the two oldest inventions which are hooks and wedges. The idea was to latch every hook on to each of the two tracks into a hollow on the opposite track. As the strips move through the slide, the slide's inclined edges push the teeth toward each other forming a bond between both sides.…

Five prescriptions for fear are (1) feel the fear and do it anyway (2) Get support from friends who believe in you (3) Remember, you are equipped to handle anything that comes your way (4) Know that F.E.A.R is a false expectation about risk (5) Replace your fear with faith. They fancy the notion that governments can continue to spend their way to prosperity, so deficits don't matter, as long as they create growth.…

On some weekends, I worked with my father at his part time job. He worked at this plaza for its owner, and sometimes he required assistance, so I decided to willingly work with him at the plaza. For instance, if he was demolishing or taking down something, I would usually pick up the rubble and take it to the odorous trash. If he needed to fix a water leak in one of the suites, I would help him find the source of the leak and he would fix it.…
