The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, 2016b) states that Zika virus infection spread through the bite of an infected Aedes mosquito, by sexual contact, or from a pregnant woman to her fetus. Although casual contact from person to person does not transmit the infection, preventive measures are necessary and are focused not just on the personal protection but also in the reduction of vector density (Sikka, et. al., 2016). The Reduction of vector density consists in environmental considerations such as maintenance and cleaning of the water storage system. On the other hand, personal protection means to decrease the contact with the vector and be aware of the risks of transmission, sign, and symptoms of the infection. CDC Guidelines
