Zika is a mosquito borne virus that is affecting hundreds of people, it's affecting people mostly in Central and South America and the Caribbean. Zika is a very bad in Brazil and is causing alot of birth defects. The virus still does not have a cure yet which is not good since people are going on vacation and might contract the virus and return to their homes and spread the virus to other people. One of the ways people are trying to get rid of the disease is using genetically modified mosquitoes. The genetically modified mosquito's are not a good idea to get help eliminate/ control Zika.
