Zie Industries’ as an organization has developed policies and procedure, which can be used to by Management and employees to manage diversity in workplace. The whole and sole purpose of this policy is to ensure everyone follows respects and value the diversity in the workplace.

Policy has been set up to ensure following points:

1. No discrimination in the workplace. Everyone should value diversity.

2. Everyone should be treated with respect and dignity.

3. A healthy, safe and secure workplace environment.

4. All the management decision should be taken by keeping equity and fairness in mind.

Benefits can be summarized in below points:
1. Combined effect of employee distinctive strength and weaknesses can make teams and organisations more intelligent and productive.
2. Diverse teams can work in more creative and innovative way, as compared to teams with same background.
3. People of different background can think, approach, and solve problems in different ways, which makes organization more innovative and flexible.
4. Culturally different organizations have competitive advantage and more business opportunities.
5. Indirect discrimination can be avoided, which can lead to achieve greater organization goals and increase the faith of employee in working towards organizational goals.

To make sure, proper work environment Lumo have implemented the work place diversity management system. Their employees are of different caste, colour, religion and culture. Yet, everyone follows the same organization goal. They all work towards achieving the philosophy of organization. Everyone gets treated equally. Corporate aims to create inclusive work environment with equal opportunities for everyone.
In an interview the vice president of Lumo energy have told that their organization focuses closely on diversity management system, with assistance of global steering committee. Currently the organization has a global emphasis on gender diversity and there is significant effort to increase the ethnic diversity as well.
