At a time when the Giants and the Furies are fighting, Titan Cronus, father of Zeus, finds out one of his children will defeat and dethrone him so he started eating every child of his that was born. His wife Rhea feels bad and saves one child-Zeus. Soon Zeus grows up and makes Cronus vomit his siblings. Together, Zeus and his siblings defeat the Titans and took over the Universe. Zeus becomes the King of the Heavens, Sky, and Wind giving his brothers Poseidon and Hades their respective roles. He is also the King of the Gods and overlooks all the Olympians. When Zeus is mentioned in a text of any sort, Zeus’s powerful attitude and capability is usually alluded to. The seamen worship him to assure safe voyages. However he is known to be easily angered if people don’t perform rituals before going to sea or worshiping him in real life. His symbol is the trident with which he would strike the Earth and create an earthquake. Although, he got the Seas, he was a little jealous of his brother Zeus. When Poseidon is referred to in a text it may be as a reference to his choppy behavior. Poseidon wanted people to respect him the way they should or else punishes them. If a character is compared to Poseidon, he or she is easily angered if due respect or acknowledgement is not given. The character can be seen as moody, greedy, and bad-tempered. She protected purity and young children. She was one of the virgin goddess who valued pureness and usually seen either hunting and protecting animals or nurturing the young. However she has a different side also. If any one of her nymphs were to fall in love be seduced, she would turn them into animals and kill them. If someone is referred to Artemis or even her incarnation, they are usually described for their love of animals and young children. This is the kind of person who doesn’t let any of his or her followers be diverted and protects them with all of that. However, he or she is very protective. If one of his or her friends, relatives, or any one close is seen doing things she does not approve of, he or she will punish them for not staying in line with their morals.
