Zetta resides on James Island and was the caregiver to Bishop Ernest L Unterkoefler of the Charleston Catholic Dioceses, which is how my parents heard of her as my family is very big in the Catholic community. The Lord was looking after my parents because as the Bishop was set to retire, my mother was pregnant with my eldest brother and was in need of a nanny for when she returned to work. In turn, Zetta had a job lined up and my parents finally found a nanny they loved, and that we would turn out to consider our second mom.

Zetta is always just a phone call away, especially when I have a new bible verse for her. As a child, Zetta would give me a book in the bible, or sometimes a section to read and have me decipher it into my own words and how I could relate it to my life. She stopped sitting for us when I was 7 years old and till this day I still call her every now and then with my favorite bible verse or one that I think she would love to hear as a pick-me-up. I recently found a job for Zetta working with my boyfriends’ uncle as he has a three year old and 10 month old. Thankfully I get to see her at all the family functions, whether it is my family or my boyfriends, because Zetta makes such a big impact on all the lives she touches and hoW strong her friendship
