With all my might, I start to heave the machine faster than I had the rest of the time. As my luck would have it, the headlights were actually my friend's dad’s truck, I went with my friend’s family. He had come looking for me, surprisingly. I wave him down and he drives over, rolls down his window and said “What happened? Are you ok?”
