REFLECTION OF ZAPPOS Online shopping is growing everyday to make things easier and more efficient for buyers. Zappos was founded in 1999 by Nick Swinmurn. We will be looking into how Zappos has evolved and has grown into the online company they are today. We will be focusing on the; website design, social media affiliation, verification of sites used, online reputation, mission and vision, message of brand, customer service and personality, audience, response to problems, and sources.

Another key message Zappos advertises is that they have many different options for all different buyers, basically that any person can find something they like on their website. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PERSONALITY Zappos is known for their amazing customer service and it’s shown in their voice of the company. They are very involved and excited for you to be interested in their products. Their values are shown through their charisma and kindness towards customers and also how they advertise their products. With Zappos new hiring process there is some complaints about asking too much information in an interview. This is because Zappos changed their interview process from normal sit down interviews to a networking opportunity for the future employer to connect with employees. The interviewee can question workers and build a relationship with them to essentially help them get a job in the end. Zappos biggest goal is to provide amazing customer service while being kind and caring. Some people may not get a job because of their attitude or because of how they present themselves. They’ve gone through security breaches, no credibility & also a bad reputation. Nowadays, Zappos is known for their great customer service and helping customers. Their tone and voice is “being kind” and following their ten commandments. They also are honest to their customers and very understanding if one does not like something they bought. Zappos has been criticized for their technique in hiring new employees but they see their new technique as hiring the best of the best. Zappos has a great presence on social media and they strive to make everyone happy. Overall, Zappos is a great company that is doing an outstanding job and is continue to grow and become better
