At my old school, we constantly judged other people and ourselves based upon “unspoken laws” and made-up stereotypes. Such as: Koreans did Key Club, Filipino boys did breakdance, taking Geometry as a freshmen meant you weren't smart, and JROTC kids were awkward weirdos who were unathletic but still needed that PE credit. Coming to the ZAMHS community for me was extremely refreshing in the lack of these type of societal norms. And thanks to that, I was able to become friends with different types of people who I probably would've never approach
