Zaigen Observation

This week I spent some time observing a 5-year-old boy named Zaigen while I visit taught his mother. He is an only child so I brought along my three boys ages 8, 4, and 4 so Zaigen fell right in the middle. I watched them play at Zaigen’s home which might account for some of the behavioral traits I saw. While watching the boys play I noticed that while Zaigen was excellent at sharing he was only willing to share if my boys played how he wanted them to play. They all are so different in manifesting their temperaments meaning that every parent has to adapt to their special child, and there is no one right way to parent. What would work for my difficult child would never work for Zaigen and vise versa. The most important thing we can do as parents is to parent with love and

Play is one of the main ways in which children interact with one another and form relationships. Lack of social interaction can lead to a child not being able to learn how to co-operate, develop confidence as well as problem solving and thinking skills.…
