It started out when we reached the airport all dressed up for our business trip overseas. We were to make sales to a fellow company. We got onto our plane and took off. After several hours the plane began to shake. Before any of the passengers knew, the plane was hurtling towards the ground. Panic spread throughout the plane and screams escaped everybody’s mouths, then, everything went black. We woke up to flames and loud noises everywhere. We rose and looked around in panic. Everybody was running around, looking for other people or their things. Finally, we split up and began to gather people in a place we decided on and tried as best we could to create order within the survivors. Some people looked for what we could use on the plane and others looked around the island in groups to see what would be useful for us. Others sat, crying and desperate for help. …show more content…
People came out with seat cushions, small packages of peanuts, plastic containers, and even a broken radio was brought out by a larger man. These supplies were sorted through by the people who stayed behind, waiting for a task. Items that people agreed were useful were put into one pile and other items were thrown aside. The people who went to search the land returned, announcing that they had discovered that we were on a small island. Everybody knew that from that point forward, we would have to work for our survival. We agreed to separate the people into four groups. The first would look for food. The second group’s job was to find and build a fire. The third group was responsible for gathering anything to signal for help.
