Youtube Video Analysis: Dragons Den

When giving a presentation of any kind it is always important to keep your audience engaged, and to only inform them of the major points of your topic; which allows for a more open engagement later on. In the youtube video from the British show Dragons Den titled the Worst ever pitch, Worst ever product on BBSs Dragons Den a man is trying to get funding for his idea to put traffic flow lights on all of the wrong way signs in London in order to stop people from going the wrong way down a one way street. Over all his cause was not a bad one he just let the love of his idea over shadow the over welling feed back from his peers. The point of the Dragons Den show is to pitch new ideas to investor in the hopes of turning a profit. He then relied with yes he did do research, but killed it when he said that the government official who had the final say to buy or not to buy his product hated the idea. From there it went from bad to worse when he clearly showed that his obsession with his idea was blinding him to any kind of critical feed back, and that any research that was negative to his cause was totally ignored. Doing thought out research is key to a smooth presentation no matter what questions are asked in the middle.
