According to the Fifteenth Amendment in the United States Constitution, every man and woman regarding race, color or religion, have the right to vote. The product of voting is the voice as an American citizen and reaching out an opportunity for the voice to be heard. Voting is the keystone to an efficient democracy and must be realized by our nation’s youth. During the midterm election on November 2014, an estimate of 9.9 million young Americans voted. This has been a problem going on in the United States for quite a while now, even though there has been an insignificant amount of improvement. People look at this as a immense issue because of how the youth shows the lack of care for the country and future. If more people show no interest of voting, then it can lead to turmoil for the country.
