There is also the problem that many kids are being put into sports they don’t want to play. When a child is put into an environment they don’t want to be in they are being set-up to fail. This affects their self-esteem because they are put into a situation that if they fail they are humiliated.
Putting a child in a sport could lead to sport related burnouts which could decrease desire to succeed and leads to higher risk of injury. Not to mention this can also affect their parent-child relationship when you put your child into a sport they don’t want to be in it could make your child unhappy which could soon turn into hatred.
Furthermore many kids are being forced to drink water and sports drinks so much so the it is hurting them and even killing them. When you run or exercise you body goes into water conservation mode and, when kids start drinking way more than they need it could turn bad. In one instance a young high school student started to have cramps during practice so he started to gulp large amounts of water at the end of practice he drank over 4 gallons of water. He went home and he collapsed, was rushed to the ER and soon died there. There have been more cases that this one of people dying from
