Youth Hunt Report

My worst experience occurred on October 11th, 2015 during the youth hunt. It was my first time being able to shoot the deer while shooting. It was Sunday, after a full day of seeing a lot of does and 0 bucks. We hunted the morning and didn’t see anything, so we went back to the cabin for lunch. Grizzly bear trophy hunts are well controlled, and do not threatened the bears continued existence in British Columbia. Over the years management programs have ensure the safety of the species with all different kinds of means. The grizzly bear trophy hunts are well controlled by programs such as limited entry hunting, which controls the number of authorized hunters in an area (Ministry of Environment, 2010, pg.1). Limited hunting entries are controlled by the government that does not allow trophy hunting in areas if the population is not at a sustainable level and only allows human-caused mortality levels to be at a maximum of 6%. Brian's Hunt The reason I choose this Brian’s Hunt book is because of the illustration and the cover is relatively interesting to me. The book is authored by Gary Paulsen and published in 2003. As the main character, Brian Robeson had a plane accident when he was 14 years old. After two years, he doesn’t want to live in a busy city, but he wants to live in the wilderness of Canada, where it had so many trees and wild animals with an adventurous life.…

The sign above that is addressed to hunters is very misleading. Without proper punctuation, the sign makes it seem as if the hunters are hunting pedestrians that walk on the trails. The sign should say, “Hunters, please use caution when hunting. Pedestrians using walk trails.” A period would serve best to clarify the sign’s message that hunters should be careful because there are pedestrians nearby.…

But when you are walking in the woods you want to try and act like a deer by how they walk also hunters can do this by walking in a erratic stop and go pattern, but simply most easiest way is to just go with the flow because you will never have the same hunt. Deer are mostly accustomed to hearing squirrels running through the leaves and limbs falling from trees, but if a hunter goes out and doesn’t spray any scent on him to cover him up a deer will smell you from miles away and won’t come to your stand. Deer live in the wood twenty four hours, seven days a week they know what sounds are normal to them and what sounds are not if a hunter makes just the slightest noise of something slamming against metal when you are climbing up a stand the deer will get curious around their territory. Another thing that all hunters should do is not let your guard down because the minute that you do the biggest buck of your life could walk right past you and you didn’t get the shot off, but if you don’t let your guard down you have to be calm and quiet because when you see the big buck your adrenaline will kick in and your heart will be racing so much but everything can happen so fast in a blink of an…
