In the US, most importantly, according to the survey, before 1980, there have been youth gang activities are found in some rural or geographically disperse areas. Though, 1950 to 1960, the decade has seen the violent youth gang issues, but, after 1980, the introduction or the existence of the youth gangs started coming into the picture in the main stream (Burney 2000). Many principal cities and areas have been facing the said issue in more dangerous manner and quantity. As per the countrywide police records, there have been approx. 25,000 organized youth gang groups are recognized and widespread in each large or small community, region.
