Many NBA players have come out and apposed the AAU development league for the reason of people think it opposed it. From the article that I read about the AAU it said for a solid 25 years now, The AAU has been a cesspool of corruption and deficit along with conflicts of interest. You have always heard where coaches were payed to direct kids to certain colleges or the shoe companies controlling the system in hopes of getting top players wearing their shoes in college. (korman) So that the youth baseball system doesn’t have as bad as a reputation as basketball. As a coach you have the option of trying to stay clean or step down to everyone else’s level to be competitive for the reason of that’s how people get all the good players. How I would try and handle this as a coach would be stay clear of The AAU for the reason of I would not want to get into all of that corruption and greed. Then if I did become a youth AAU basketball coach I would do what I need to make sure that my kids have the best chances to succeed. I would rather do what is right and lose some games then do what is wrong to win some games. From the research I did the problems that I found out that a youth basketball coach faces are similar to what a youth baseball coach face but then some are sports
