Youth Athletes Should Give Out Participation Trophys

Youth sports should give out participation trophy's to a certain extent. At A young age , athletes should get one. An athlete older than 12 should not receive a participation trophy . They should have to earn their reward to show they have accomplish their goal. What if everyone got a reward for doing what they were suppose to it would lose its meaning .

Should youth sports give out participation awards absolutely . Youth athletes need to be motivated and giving out participation awards are a great way to begin. An athlete that's a teen over should not get one there no longer consider youth and now teenagers . If they have earned a trophy they should be given one .

Trophy's are a encouragement to youth athletes. Youth athletes just want to play the sport and have a good time . Also it is nice to be rewarded even if u don't always succeed it always a good thing to have hope.

Critics say that if youth athletes get a reward just by doing something going to make them think for everything they do they deserve a reward. They believe that giving participation reward is going to ruin there mentality . It could be just belief that is a act of kindness its self .

Giving out participation rewards is not going to hurt the athlete for god sakes its just youth athletes getting a well earned trophy for encouragement and hard work and most of all participating . Its not that serious now come on taking your kids trophy because they participated and didn't win the best or number one trophy that seems a little over the top , dramatic , and selfish . Let the youth athletes enjoy there trophy be proud of there trophy's and all the success throughout the
