INTRODUCTION
A charity that supports young people through a number of funded projects; Youth Action is based in England but has several service centers all which do not collectively have a mechanized system of collecting its data. The youth action board wants to look towards enhancing and migrating to the use of modern management information system as a standard reporting mechanism for collecting its data. Youth action, over the years, have lost several amount of money in other IT projects which fail to be implemented. An external management consultant Samuel Smith has been hired to oversee the situation and bring out valid and valuable conclusions as to why there are failed IT projects in the organization. ADVANTAGES OF APPLYING DSDM ATERN IN YOUTH ACTION
One of the principles of the DSDM atern is to develop iteratively, step by step, stage by stage. This helps to eliminate the chances of the system going wrong, it also ensures that the developers are open to changes and know exactly what they are doing, integrating user test at each stage and level, eliminating the and bugs at each level, reducing the chances of having failure at the end. This guarantees that the system will be of high quality and will definitely meet the requirements of the users.
DISADVANTAGES
The DSDN atern method is made up of principles which must be followed otherwise the entire project will not be completed successfully. This inflexibility causes lots of restriction for DSDM.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, Samuel smith has identified DSDM atern as the most suitable methodology to meet and solve all the problems faced by Youth Action. With all its principles properly implemented, it gives solutions that are aimed directly at the
