Unease has risen across the country, people want change but they don’t see themselves as the key to the change they desire. They want the quality of life to improve and want the country to be handled differently. Every American is born with the freedom of speech and the right to be heard, at the age of eighteen they acquire a right to vote; an opportunity many fail to take advantage of. To make the difference that is needed in the country every voice must be heard, which means everyone needs to get out and vote to spark the change they want to see.
Although it can be easy to assume that a singular vote cannot turn the tide of an election, this assumption is not entirely true. One vote adds up, and those votes can make or break your representative. Your vote could be the difference between revolutionizing the country and electing a representative that insists on staying to the status quo.
