Revision 2 Youngstown State University established in 1908 is a university in Youngstown Ohio. Ohio University established in 1808 is located in Athens Ohio. Youngstown State University (YSU) and Ohio University (OU) are two universities that are similar in many ways including, having a Writing Center, A Math center, Science Center, Study Skills, Tutoring Services and a Library. In this essay I will give you the similarities of both Ohio University and Youngstown State University in which is good for a student who needs extra help in their studies. First, Youngstown State University and Ohio University both offer a Writing Center. The writing center is where students can go to get paper revisions, help on writing a paper and anything that has to do with English. Youngstown State University offers a writing center in the lowest level of Magg Library. At Youngstown State University students can go to the writing center at anytime, even without and appointment. The CSP offers a lot for students at Youngstown State University, they have peer mentors, academic coaches and group tutoring. The CSP is a great place at Youngstown State University. At Ohio University they offer something very simalir to the CSP at Youngstown State University called Tutoring Services. At Ohio University they will set you up with a person who will tutor you in the subject of trouble. They offer a lot at the tutoring Services at Ohio University very similar to the CSP at Youngtown State University. Both are free of cost and allow apptmoinemnts or walk
