Introduction: In 1844, manufacturing London was a location of huge disorder and hopelessness. For the teenage males who traveled to the town from country areas to search for employment, London presented a bleak countryside of apartment building lodging and hazardous influences. A 22 year-old George Williams, a rancher and farmer turned department retailer employee, was upset by what he witnessed. Mr. William along with several of his acquaintances established the first Young Men’s Christian Association.
