According to the video called, “Young Killer Girls”, two out of the three girls in the video were adolescent Caucasian girls that grew up in an unstable home. The third adolescent Caucasian grew up in a stable environment with both parents. An unstable home can be described as being without both parents, being introduced or exposed to drugs, and witnessing adults use drugs excessively to cope with internal issues. It is not always certain that an adolescent will result to crime due to an unstable environment; however, the chances are higher. I believe that this theory is true because more men are convicted of crimes than women when they may have experienced some of the same childhood issues. For example, my brother and I were exposed to the same disappointment of our fathers arrest and parents’ divorce. I acted out in more discrete ways than my brother did that no one knows about even to this day. On the other hand, my brother could not do anything without getting caught by my mother or without me finding out from someone. I was more deceitful and cunning than my brother.
