The reason for some of our food being unhealthy is because we eat food that comes from our supermarkets. Some of the products that are in the stores come from farms. They get all cooked out and there’s no other way to restore them. For most of us, the food entering our stomachs is devoid of enzymes. Why is this important? Because enzyme rich foods actually "predigest" in your stomach through the action of their own enzymes in a process called autolytic digestion (Barron).
If most of the enzymes are lost then in our food then our food doesn’t digest all the way. The food will take to long to break down in our body. Which causes problems with our health because we need our food to be broken down so that we can receive the proper nutrients that we need for our bodies. Taking at least more than one vitamin can be dangerous. It can later on cause problems with your body because you only need so little.
Vitamins can help or they can be dangerous if you’re not getting enough. As to why vitamins are bad for you, why you shouldn’t eat raw food, and why nutrients is good for you. Some of the people inside of the documentary has statics that they can’t necessarily back up because there still isn’t classification about why vitamins are bad for you. Inside of the video they make a point about how a women took vitamins and she was depressed. Once when she took her vitamins she was ok, but then her doctors stopped giving her vitamins and she became depressed
