This piece is falls under contemporary art. Everyone should be told that they are beautiful no matter what size, shape, color, gender or sexuality. This piece represents the kind of generation we live in today. The media has a huge impact on what society thinks the perfect image of beauty is. Nowadays the media represents figures with unrealistic bodies. Photoshop is used too much nowadays and it creates this illusion that all of these models and celebrities being shown are perfect, when they are the total opposite. And that 's okay, Perfection is not beauty. Imperfection and being confident in your own skin is true beauty. Being able to be confident in your own skin is beautiful. Our society has such unrealistic expectations of how a female or male should look and it’s just plain ridiculous. What we see on the media affects everyone from all ages. The media creates negativity from all angles. Kind words should be contagious. People should practice being generous, generosity will energize the soul. One small act of kindness such as saying you are beautiful or even seeing the words “You are beautiful” is so uplifting.By recieving an act of kindness will always somehow be passesd down to another person. Three words “You are beautiful” can brighten someone’s day.Everyone should hear that they are beautiful frequently.Everyone is beautiful.People should not be criticized because of the way they look or live. Kind words can create such positivity and if everyone just learns to just be kind to one another the world will become a better
