There can be too many things that can describe you and your cultural identity. The types of things that identify your culture are not only your race or parties you celebrate. It is the purpose of why are you celebrating. Culture includes the the traditions you pass on to each generation. It is the thing you enjoy. It is the language you speak. My cultural identity is what makes me unique. My quinceanera dress represents my culture and me. My dress was color coral and a light soft color of champagne. It was really big and puffy that it was hard for me to walk with it. The reason it was hard for me to walk was because it was really heavy. In the corset of my dress there were many diamonds and white pearls of different sizes. At the bottom of my dress there were ruffles that came up to my corset. These ruffles made my dress look really puffy. My dress looked so elegant …show more content…
My quinceanera dress represents my culture because we have this tradition in my family. This tradition in my family means that when you have 15 years, you stop from being a girl and become a young lady. For this change, family and friends organize a big party. This tradition has been passed down through my family like my aunts, grandma and my mom has had a quinceanera celebration. This dress has an important part of my life because I have now entered a new life topic. As you can see my quinceanera dress is an important part of my identity. “ The Book of Life” is one of my favorite movies, because it reveals my cultural identity.In this movie, the main characters are Manolo, Juaquin ,Maria and Xibalba. In this movie Xibalba wants Joaquin to marry Maria.Also Xibalba wants Joaquin to save the town of San Angel.
