Yong Cha Ring (Kim) was born in Seoul, Korea on 10/08/1947 to . Yong has seven stepsiblings; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She reports that her parents were married at the time of her birth, but divorced in 1964. Yong stated that her father had no backbone and her mother was controlling. Yong's mother remarried in 1965 to . He stepfather passed away in the early 1990's. Yong stated that she grew up in Korea. Yong stated that her childhood was difficult. When she was ten her mother paid her aunt to raise her. Her aunt was abusive towards her. Yong remembers her grandpa was very caring and supportive of her. Fifth to sixth grade Yong boarded with her teacher. Yong stated that she sees her mother and siblings, two to three times a year. Yong's father …show more content…

Yong has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, High Blood Pressure, and Depression; she is on medication to help with these conditions. Her medication is as follows: depression medication, sertraline (zoloft), she takes 100mg twice daily; high blood pressure medication, Losartan (cozaar), she takes 100mg once daily; stomach medication, Esomeprazole (nexium), she takes 40mg twice daily; and other stomach medication, Polyethylene Glycol, 327mg she takes once daily. Yong denies any criminal or legal issues. Yong has a positive reputation and general standing in the community. She stated that she is involved with in the community as a volunteer at church in the summer lunch program. Yong plans on keeping the medical card once the child is adopted.
