Your stomach churns as you watch your fellow biker swerving in and out of the bike lane into ongoing traffic, just like how a drunken driver might veer into the bike lane. We have all been there you pull up to the stop light as it turns from green to yellow, the question is whether you will floor it and try to make the light. Some people will say “YOLO” and floor it. These are the idiots that provided us with the statistic that each day 12 people get hit by a car. Their is two meanings of yolo to some people, for some people yolo means you have to tests life boundaries. And to others yolo means you only live once so you might as well and try to preserve your life.

For example is darting in front of a car risk saving your phone that you dropped when crossing the street. Or if you dart in front of a car as it’s pulling out of the drive way. If you have to think about it then you also have to consider that it’s not just your life at risk it’s also the drivers. It’s proven that when someone darts in front of the car, instead of slamming on the breaks some cars will instead jerk their car wheel to the left or right causing the car to crash into another parked car.
