Shaquille O'Neal once said, "There are seven days in the week and someday isn't one." Without a YMCA most likely kids will say, "Oh I'll be able to practice someday," and they won't because they don’t have anywhere to practice. Most kids are never able to practice the sport or things they love and that causes them to never even get the chance to achieve their dreams. The community of Otto-Eldred should consider building a YMCA.
First of all, a YMCA would be a good way to keep people active and healthy. If you go to the YMCA often you can lose a ton of weight. Also, the YMCA has a workout room so you can get strong, healthy, and fit. Most importantly, the YMCA has a huge variety of workout machines so you can work out whatever you want.

Although some people might argue that building a YMCA is too expensive there are many ways to make it affordable. First of all, YMCA's can charge people for memberships. Also, they can put vending machines in the YMCA for when people get hungry or thirsty. Thirdly, Otto-Eldred can do fundraisers, donations, grants, and can ask volunteers to help with things. Lastly, the YMCA can have a rental facility for when people need things.
The community of Otto-Eldred should consider building a YMCA. It would be a good way to exercise and stay active, it would be a good way to make money and most importantly it would be a fun, safe, place for young adolescents to stay active. Although some people might argue that building a YMCA in Eldred would be too expensive, the YMCA can charge customers for memberships, food and drinks from vending machines, and they can make a rental facility. And remember, "There are 7 days in the week and someday isn't one." -Shaquille

A new facility would definitely help players train, but starting a summer program that played in a summer league would allow players and coaches to practice in game-like scenarios. Offseason training is extremely important for baseball players because baseball season is two months shorter than both the fall and winter sport’s seasons. With more offseason training, baseball players could perfect their skills, and coaches would have more time to coach players. Summer league would also offer valuable time for team development. Varsity players could learn to play together, while younger players could develop as their bodies grow.…

Before puberty, boys and girls who play sports together can learn many things about themselves.
