Yldp stand for youth leadership development program . It help youth to be a better leader . An show so many character traits like (honesty, service, gratitude, respect, and etc). Everyone can leader, but some leader need to have good character traits.
When I first start the program youth leadership development program. I was kind shy because I didn’t know no one.they explain to us about the program. they explain to us about some of the speaker.they threw us a party in the begin to get relax with everyone.

Tom Walker he told us about service and determination. Service is do something because someone told you to do it. Determination is do something without someone tell you.
The fifth meet we meet Mrs. Liz huntely.she taught about respect. She said "is not given it is earn."she said"respect is very hard to come by."
The sixth meeting we meet Mrs. neeys bibble.she taught perseverance. she said success is not hand to you got work hard to be successful.
The seventh meeting we meet Mr. Elliot spiller.th was my furtive he said you going to have to overcome your life but go to have challenge the challenge.like one of his challenge was he wasn’t going to be SGA president of university of Alabama. He ran for SGA president twice.the first time he didn’t make it. The second time he won . But he said you got to be dedicated and but he said you got to be dedicated and persistent about what you want to do it life.
In these last seventh month I learn some many life strategies.i use these character traits to make me a better leader.mr. Robert Holmes taught the six pillars of character.
