In the latest half century, Homosexuality social movements were all over the world. Traditional concept of “A man and a woman” have been challenged. There are people who believe that it’s every person’s right to choose who they love and who they want to spend their life with, regardless of gender. However, there are also people who think that it isn’t how the natural code works, it is not normal. The biggest suffering choice hits directly to the parents, they are forced to decide what they should do when one side is their kids’ happiness, and the other is that they might never have the chance to have a grandchild. To support? Or to convince them out of this crazy way of living? There are several differences between Taiwan and United States parents’ attitude toward homosexuality. In the early time of Taiwan history, people are more likely to strongly oppose the group of homosexuality. It was considered as a “sickness”, or “not ethical”. In the traditional Chinese culture, “Yin and Yang represent the two opposite principles of nature.
