The most unforgettable thing that happened to me in my life was when I went to Yellowstone National Park. One reason it was so unforgettable was because my dad and my Grandpa were with me. Another reason is because of the how different it was from home. The nature was so beautiful there and the animals were so cool. I like going with my dad because we love to see new things. We also like to explore new places and go on hikes. I like going with my Grandpa because he was an expert (if you ask me) on Yellowstone. He knew were all the cool spots where and when to go to them. He was the perfect “tour guide.” I like Yellowstone because you get to get away from home. When I went with my dad and grandpa we all slept in tents. It was summer time

Yellowstone Wolves Around the late 1920’s bounty hunters from the government exterminated the park’s last native wolves as part of a national wolf extermination program to protect the farmer’s livestock. In a exert from an interview Scott said “These animals themselves have not killed livestock, and don't know how” and “ They'll learn how to kill wild prey from these older wolves that we're putting them with” so the wolves have not killed livestock because the will learn how to eat wild prey. I believe the wolves should stay in Yellowstone. I believe the wolves should stay in Yellowstone because they help out the ecosystem. In 1955 when the wolves were reestablished into the park the elk population was around 18,000 .With…

The best moment of my life was going to Great Wolf Lodge because it’s the most fun I have ever had, also because I got to miss school and go with my best friend and her family. My experience at the water park went a little like this. When I walked into the water park it smelled like clean water, kinda like cleaners, but after awhile my nose got used to the smell. There were many rides to go on.…

Yellowstone volcano has many plants and animals living around it. Yellowstone has many different kinds of wildlife habitats. One of them is the alpine tundra which is a Dry, rocky, and treeless areas near the tops of mountains. Alpine tundra has very few growing plants and a few mammals, such as mountain goats and pika. Another habitat is the Mountains Meadows which is a lush, spongy oases of sedges, wildflowers and shrubs grow at elevations from about 6,000 to 11,000 feet.…

Did you know that at the present rate of extinction 20% of the world’s animal species could be extinct in the next 30 years. A lot of this is because of changes to living and nonliving things and their habitats affecting the population of an ecosystem. Did you know that oil spills can even affect many worm species causing them to over populate. Also, Wolves aren’t the real bad guys in Yellowstone national park. My last point is about melting glaciers, and how their destruction is causing some of the worst damage to animal populations.…

The reading passage states that the ''no suppress policy'' has done serious and irreparable damages to Yellow stone national park and provides three reasons for championing this theory. However, the professor claims that fire is a natural part of the ecosystem and repudiates all three reasons. At first, the reading passage posits that Yellow stone fire destroys vegetation and trees in that area. On the other hand, the lecturer refutes this reasoning, saying that destroyed area is a pleasant habitat for new species to thrive. According to the professor, after the fire, the vegetation becomes more diverse for certain species.…

Today, they continue preservation of both cultural and natural resources. It is the focus of the park's research and resource management staff. I wrote this essay to inform the 6th grade English class about the Mesa Verde National Park. Yellowstone National Park is an amazing place to discover because when you do, you start to understand why we have national parks at all. There are three spheres of interaction in the park and they are: nature-and-nature, human-and-nature, and human-and-human. The spheres that stand out are the human-and-nature and nature-and-nature. Tourist-and-wolves interact within the human-and-nature sphere, and the effects of their interaction are a complicated and long relationship within the history of the Yellowstone National Park. Tourist are defined as citizens who come to visit in the seasons of spring and summer, and their visits are the reason the economy of the park and the surrounding concessioners maintains a profitable output year to year.…

My grandparents grew up in Hawaii and they moved to America in 1938. I remember them telling me that they met in Hawaii and that Hawaii will always be their home. Whenever I go to Mimi (grandma) and Yaya’s (grandpa) house Mimi would show me pictures about the way she lived and Yaya loves telling me stories about how their people lived in Hawaii. Did you know the volcano was made in 1762 and didn’t erupt until 1874. Mimi told me that my father was born in Hawaii but he only lived there for 6 years.…

When looking at objects that tell the story of my life, there does not seem to be a lot to choose from. I was an only child of a single parent. That being said the most memorable part would have been moving to Colorado and seeing the mountains for the first time at a young age. I remember the first time I saw Pikes Peak, how I was in shock and awe over how spectacular a natural formation coming from the Earth could be, as I have never seen anything quite like it before. The mountains span as far as our eyes could see and could we could see them from a great distance away.…

I will never forget the time I went on vacation to Florida because of the experience I had with my family on the greatest vacation ever. It all started when this big trip was put together my 7th grade year of school to take a vacation all the way down to Florida. We decided to go to a place some friends recommended to us, this place is called St. Augustine. What really sparked my family’s interest in going was the fact that St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. So not even a week after the school year ended, my family and I took off on our 1,000 mile trip to Florida.…
